BLACK MUSE - Poem

BLACK MUSE
Danielle Myre 12/31/2012

Clouds of black,
Through the sky lightening makes a crack,
Rumbling shudders all around,
You are what I found.

This feeling is dark,
But I still feel a spark.
Thoughts are filling my head,
My page is stained red.

You've become my muse,
But have also ignited my fuse.
So these words spill,
Do you feel the chill?

A sucking hole,
As black as coal,
It never seems to end,
No words will be able to fend.

I should run away,
Because I feel like prey,
But you've been a good use,
You are my black muse.

  1. I think this is one of my favorite poems that I have ever written. I don't know why exactly but I just love it!
