Energy blooms, 

But soon dies. 

Thoughts twist and turn, 

And hold on tight. 

Smiles blossom, 

But can fade overnight. 

Emotions spin, 

And are never able to end. 

A glow warms, 

But winter comes around. 

Confusion jumps, 

And there are nonstop ups and downs. 

Heartache eats everything, 

But courage can soar. 

Strength requires me, 

And I require belief.
